What a completely gorgeous episode!

Pokemon has always done this. and always done great. but I love that they are doing this WAY MORE often now. I just love how the pokemon are given these personalities and stories. making them their own character.

The anime knows where it's strengths lie and are now using it better than before.

and bonus points for the world building. This is why I LOVE the more recent pokemon anime. their world building just gives so much life to the show.

It wouldn't be Pokémon without a sunrise/sunset and a bye-bye... ;v;

Wasn't Ash the person who'd wake up midnight for no reason, why have the roles been switched ?

I can understand that some things are important to some people as the flower is to Flabebe, but to take a plane all the way to Kalos for a flower? How much money do they have?

I like to believe that the world of Pokemon is so prosperous that travel is probably really cheap. Also it's Pokemon, so there's a lot of things that are just convenient. Like how everyone is vegetarian, there's no blood, or how Goh has the money to sustain over 80 Pokemon in one place, or how there's literally an open crime organization and the police just let them be.

Well they are Pokemon researchers. Guess you can say it's company/business expenses, since Go captures all of these pokemon for study.

I dont think the concept of money exists in Pokemon world. No transaction except if its Pokemon

How many times have we seen Team Rocket work part time to pay for food and their new “catch Pikachu” robot?

True, but thats the only time money has been discussed. So maybe its an ultra level Japan where all services when it comes to kids are free and only Adults need to pay?? and receive??? That means only transactions between 18+ happens and if any party is below 18, money is not even brought into it.

I remember an old episode (one with Brock and Misty around) where Ash made the T_T face and said that he had no money. I think he wanted to buy food. But I'm sure that's not the only time he or his companions mentioned money though.
Well, if anything, the anime is based on the games, which we all know has transactions. So I'm going to assume the anime has it as well. Ironically, while bidding in auctions in my Scarlet game, there are NPC adults asking where I get my money from lol.
